By Staff Reporter

Los Angeles—In recognition of the frontline police offices and other first responders, Roundtable of Chinese American Organizations (RCAO) made a much-needed PPE donation to the City Hall of Arcadia.

Mayor Pro Tem Sho Tay, Councilmember Paul P. Cheng, and representatives of Arcadia Police Department accepted the donated items, which include 5,000 medical grade face masks and 1,000 gloves.

“Witnessing the lack of personal protective equipment of the local law enforcement officers, we feel obligated to step up to offer our help,” said Phoebe Chen, the president of RCAO.  “Members of our organizations gather here today to show our appreciation for all the first responders.”

In addition to PPE, RCAO also delivered to the City Hall some gourmet food, fruit and beverages prepared by local Sichuan cuisine restaurants.

Participated organizations include Professors and Experts Federation, Association for Peace and Friendship Promotion, Chinese Culture Exchange and Promotion Association, USA Shenyang Chamber of Commerce, and Chinese American Experts Association.
